Formed in June 2007, the HBA has rapidly grown into an organisation of like-minded members and now represents a number of key objectives on behalf of businesses in the region.

About the Hinckley Business Association

The Hinckley Business Association (HBA) is a group of businesses based in the Borough of Hinckley & Bosworth and the surrounding area who represent the voice of the business community and its interests in the local economy.

Formed in June 2007, the HBA has rapidly grown into an organisation of like-minded members and now represents a number of key objectives on behalf of businesses in the region:

Hinckley Business Association  members• It provides a chance to meet and exchange views on a regular basis
• It maintains a regular dialogue with local Government through close links to the Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council
• It acts as the voice of Hinckley business in the region and in the media through PR
• It acts as a lobbying organisation on issues of local importance so that we can lobby local Government and air our views to the media and to one another
• It has access to a wealth of information on business issues and facilitates a range of solutions.

The aims of the Hinckley Business Association

• The advancement and promotion of commerce, industry and trade within the Borough of Hinckley & Bosworth and surrounding area
• The collection and collation of relevant technical information
• The publication and distribution of information about the HBA and other business-related issues
• The creation and promotion of goodwill, friendship and unity amongst the members and other traders in the Hinckley & Bosworth area by the arrangement of meetings, seminars and other means
• The promotion of principles of fair trading and discouragement of unfair competition
• The representation of the interests of the members as a whole or in part as appropriate
• Support for organisations with similar aims to the HBA including charitable institutions where appropriate
• The promotion of joint campaigns considered suitable and of business merit within the region
• PR activities which are of benefit to the HBA and / or its members
