The Society donates 25p for every vote cast at the AGM to a charity. For the 2008 AGM the chosen charity is Rainbows Children’s Hospice.

Staff at Hinckley and Rugby are encouraged to become involved in many areas of community work through the Society’s Community First scheme, allowing each member of staff to take up to three days per year to work in their chosen field.

In addition to the Community First project staff also participate in national charity events such as Children In Need.
